On the one hand, floristry has clear principles and rules, as any other creative profession which needs to be respected. On the other hand, floristry allows exploration of nature, recognition of its manifestations and its diverse characters; and together with personal imagination, floristry offers an outstanding range for creativity. Pointing out the peculiarities, limiting to what is necessary, combining the unusual, and making visible the unseen – those are some guidelines that are dear to me, and which help me to clarify the viewer the beauty of nature with its multiple diversity.

Floristik hat klare Prinzipien und Regeln, wie jeder andere gestalterische Beruf auch, die es zu respektieren gilt. Andererseits erlaubt die Auseinandersetzung mit der Natur, das Erkennen ihrer Erscheinungsformen und ihrer vielfältigen Charaktere – in Verbindung mit der eigenen Kreativität –
Es ist schade, das man in der Umschulung nicht frei gestalten kann/darf,obwohl man der Gestalter ist.
